SPECIAL COLORS

Sometimes CMYK just won't cut it and you need more color in your design. Luckily, we have 4 kinds of special color to choose from.

These Special Colors are printed by our Digital Printer, so the turnover rate is faster than foils, and another advantage is no design is too hard to print, thin lines, gradients, fonts, everything will print out nicely.

Special Color's advantages over Foil :

  1. No Plate Needed means no waiting time, print result can be received within 24 hours.

  2. Worry Free , any design can be printed, whereas some design can be problematic to produce when using foils

  3. No minimum order

  4. Gradients can be produced using the special color

  5. Can be combined with CMYK for impressive Gold Metallic Colors

GOLD INK

Glittery Gold Ink, don't expect any chromatic effect like foils but still, this gold ink looks impressive when applied on the right paper.

This Gold Ink can be combined with CMYK for an impressive Metallic Gold Color, apllied on a gradient, or used as a pure gold color.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS :

  1. Printed as it is, as Gold Color, we call it Gold Spot

  2. Printed in combination with another color resulting in what we call Gold Metallic Color

  3. Print as gradient

  4. Directly printed on coloured, translucent, and/or transparent medias

  5. Fonts are better printed using special color than foils ( like for exclusive things i.e. invitations, special letters, etc )

  6. Used as limited safety printing ( example : for serial numbers on coupons or gift cards ) since this color aren't easily replicated.

SILVER INK

Similar with Gold Ink, Silver Ink won't give you sheen like that of a foil, but Silver Ink is way more versatile than silver foil.

but believe me when I say that silver ink is way more versatile than that of Gold Ink, Silver Ink' versatility lies on it' ability to turn almost any color into its metallic version, red + silver? metallic red! red + green? metallic green!!

RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS :

  1. Printed as it is, as Silver Color, we call it Silver Spot

  2. Printed in combination with another color resulting in what we call Silver Metallic Color

  3. Print as gradient

  4. Directly printed on coloured, translucent, and transparent medias

  5. Fonts are better printed using special color than foils ( like for exclusive things i.e. invitations, special letters, etc )

  6. Used as limited safety printing ( example : for serial numbers on coupons / gift cards ) since this color aren't easily replicated.

WHITE INK

White Ink is utilized as an underlay for printing on colored media and transparent media. White Ink provides an opaque base layer so your print color will still show up on black / colored media, and will become opaque on transparent media, white ink can also print as is as a spot color and also able to be printed as a gradient.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS :

  1. Printed as it is, as White Spot color

  2. Print as an underlay when printing on black / colored media.

  3. Print as gradient

  4. Directly printed on coloured, translucent, and transparent medias

  5. Used as limited safety printing ( example : for serial numbers on coupons / gift cards ) since this color aren't easily replicated.

CLEAR INK

for adding higlights and giving you prints a glossy sheen, for maximum effect first give your print a matte lamination and then add clear ink on top of the lamination.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS :

  1. Use it on non porous media / coated papers ( like LMO, Symbol Raster, etc )

  2. Print it directly on colored papers ( allegro nero )

  3. Laminate you print first with matte lamination and add clear ink on top of the matte lamination ( not for stickers please )

  4. Used as limited safety printing ( example : for serial numbers on coupons / gift cards ) since this color aren't easily replicated.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

  1. When printing on top of matte lamination, please allow 1-2 mm misaligned registration with the artwork below it.

  2. Clear ink is not UV spot, so it won't be as thick or as tactile as a UV Spot.
